RetroFR Uploader is a private command-line tool that the owner of several YouTube channels runs on their own computer to publish their own videos. It uses YouTube API Services.
After the channel owner (or an authorised manager) signs in with Google and grants access, the tool can manage that person's own YouTube channel: upload videos, thumbnails and subtitles, edit video and channel details, manage playlists, and read the statistics of the channel's own videos. It does not access any other Google data.
The data is used only to perform the actions listed above at the owner's request. The OAuth access and refresh tokens are stored in a local file on the owner's computer. The tool has no server and no database: nothing is sent to the developer or to any third party, nothing is sold, shared, or used for advertising or analytics.
Access can be revoked at any time on the Google security settings page; deleting the local token file removes the stored credentials. No other copy of the data exists.
By using the tool you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
